Business Name - It was the easiest way we could sum up a landscape photograph every day of the year. There were many hours of thinking up names but finding one with the domain name still unregistered was quite a challenge.
About Andrew & Rosie - Husband and wife, Andrew and Rosie Woodhouse have been making a stunning daily landscape photograph of the beautiful west coast of Scotland for nearly 3 years. Based on Rosie's native Isle of Skye, Andrew and Rosie combine parenting, photography, dog walking and a bit of light blogging in a mildly chaotic but very happy whirlwind through life.
Previous Jobs - Directly before this business we had worked together renovating old houses for a few years and before that Andrew worked in the fish trade for a long time and Rosie in HR/Employment Law - we are much happier now.
Typical Day - Look at weather forecast the night before, plan photo shoots for morning, along with scheduling children, dogs and selves. Get up look out of window, completely change plans for photo shoots, spend too much time drinking coffee and compulsively tweeting and facebooking .. although these are both a great business resource for us. Post production work on our landscape and portrait photographs, marketing, working with our retail partners, trying to remember to collect children at the right time, walking the dogs and accidentally getting the photograph of the day and wondering why we make a plan each night.
Being Self Employed - We both love making images and the creativity that comes with it, seeing our images printed and delivered to customers is extremely satisfying. We love not working in an office, not being on the corporate treadmill and mostly we love working together.
Inspiration - From the light and the glorious Isle of Skye - no two minutes are ever the same and each day is a joy - we have always loved landscape photography and lose a great deal of time on photography books, websites and particularly Flickr.
Ideal Day Off - Spending time with the children and the dogs at the beach and taking photographs - luckily our ideal days are both work and play

Advice through Hindsight - work even harder!
Favourite TV Shows - Outnumbered, Scrubs and Big Bang Theory. Normally we are lucky if we manage to watch the news for 5 minutes.
