Year Founded: 1996
Imprint dyeing with native plants and natural dyes in Scotland. Felt making for 20 years and now in the last 5 developing colour ways and methods of dyeing. With a degree in floristry the botanical side of plant dyeing has always interested me.
I am interested in the imprints of our native plants as a historical reference as well as an art form and am fortunate enough to have my studio and home in a Victorian railway station. We keep our own native sheep, and teaching my skills combined with creating beautiful things is a large part of my work.
Using the living landscape to create unique textile prints on a variety of textiles is the new direction of my work.
