Hole in My Pocket
Humorous prints, home wares, cards, mugs and more
Location: Glasgow
Hole in my Pocket is the practice name of architect and artist Allistair J Burt. As Hole in my Pocket Allistair has worked on a vast range of projects from major art exhibitions, illustration projects, short films, storytelling machines and travelling around Scotland with an air-hostess trolley full of wine.
Since 2013 he has produced several collections of greetings cards, mugs and other gifts for the design led contemporary gift market. His products are bright, bold, and humorous with a lopsided charm that makes excited children out of the most serious of adults. One of his most popular collections entitled ‘Eat Haggis’ is a Scottish themed set of work celebrating everything great about Scotland.
His work is sold in stores, museums and galleries throughout the UK, New Zealand and the US.
