Knittykittybangbang jewellery is made by Carolyn Anderson Shepherd in her Forfar studio. Carolyn is originally from Orkney and came to ‘the mainland’ to study Art History and Celtic History at Aberdeen University, after studying Indigenous Textiles and silver smithing in Orkney.
Carolyn is inspired by the colours of the landscapes and life around her and from her Orkney childhood, folklore, literature and film. Many of Carolyn’s pieces look very much like planets, maps or magnificent small worlds of their own. Each piece is unique, the process Carolyn uses ensures it.
All Carolyn’s jewellery can be made to almost any colour. Custom requests and commissions are always welcomed.
